She waged a battle against thyroid cancer and won - but that victory has been bittersweet. As Tara was fighting, her mother was too, against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Tara's Mom did not win her fight. Seeking refuge from the sorrows that life can sometimes bring, Tara turns to writing and storytelling. Writing is her passion and she is currently publishing her first novel along with a children's storybook. Tara is Editor-in-Chief at Pickwick Publishing and in her role there she hopes to help others achieve their goals of becoming published authors too.
